Including:

greeting the water (lake wînipêk) shoreline exploration.
greeting the land, with knowledge keeper and/or certified forest and nature school practitioner, gardener.
sharing circle, smudge, story of the land, site tour.
meet and feed the chickens!
Indigenous teachings
garden samples!
land and camp exploration
workshop invitations (ask for workshop offerings), non formal, participants can join in or explore the land.
unstructured free time!
seasonal activities like tree tapping, fishing, snowshoeing.

activities are casual, child-led, fun, and easy to manage for teachers and staff.
